We aim to bring inspiration and individuality to equestrians. Passionate about our brand we offer excellent attention to personal detail and the best customer service.
So how did the company start and why do I love creating for personalised equestrian wear?
Being in love with horses and sewing my whole life, I took the step to combine my two passions and set up Truly Bespoke Embroidery in 2015. Although very different than my previous role as a primary teacher, I find creating bespoke embroideries and sewing bespoke equestrian garments for horse and rider allows me to be much more creative, and it’s so rewarding when horse owners or horse lovers are so delighted with their personalised equestrian wear.
My business which started in a spare room, moved into premises at North Lizard Lane Riding School in 2017, where I started to build a loyal customer base. In 2019, we were given the devastating news that the premises were no longer available as the landlord had decided to use the building for other purposes.
Truly Bespoke Embroidery moved to their new location at Pinetree Business Centre in July 2019 and the business is going from Strength to Strength with loyal customers throughout the UK. Our plan is to continue to providing horse riders with top class personalised equestrian wear, including personalised horse hoodies, and personalised equestrian jackets, personalised saddlecloths, as well as matching horse rider sets, and matching horse and rider sets, as well as many other bespoke equestrian items. We have access to a large selection of equestrian manufacturers who are happy for us to add personalisation to their equestrian wear, and am excited to announce that later this year will be launching our own premium range which includes base layers, saddlecloths and bonnets to compliment our personalised horse hoodies, which are already all british made.
With our horse photo embroidery we are equestrian embroidery experts and turn photos of your horses into beautiful life like embroideries. Creating other popular horse designs, and creating horse designs that our customers want to see we transform horse riding clothing to give it the wow factor! Adding creative designs to rider wear promotes individuality and uniqueness, and transforms a garment allowing rider personality to shine, and makes each outfit unique especially when it has favourite pony embroidery or a favourite design, or if you’re a competition rider it might even be the embroidery of a sponsor and a logo to give you the professional look you are seeking..
With creative designs and matching colours our horse rider wear is suitable for everyday horse riding as well as for those wishing to look good competing in local or national show-jumping, cross-country or dressage, we have personalised garments suitable for each discipline. And can give advice as to what is allowed.
We match fantastic equestrian hoodies, polo shirts and base layers with saddle cloths, bonnets, rugs, bandages in matching colours from well, known equestrian manufacturers Embroidered designs help riders to create their own unique look.
With our sewing expertise we can create for you many bespoke equestrian items that aren't available on the high street, and help horse riders create the unique look they require for themselves and their horses. So whether you are seeking a bespoke show rug, a personalised head collar, a stableguard, a saddlecover or some other equestrian item we can help you create what you need.
I still enjoy riding my horse Amber Cadanza who is now 21 and slightly arthritic, and especially enjoy going on special outings like cross –country days , show jumping clinics, and dressage competitions, as well as pleasure rides and general hacks out around my local area. Getting new things for me and her is always so exciting. I don’t think I will ever grow out of loving ponies!
Here at Truly Bespoke we are interested in all things horsey and each year sponsor a number of young riders as well as professional coaches. For 2020/2021 we are proud to be sponsoring the following riders Amy Price, Kylie Munro, Gabrielle Geraldie, Heidi Carr, Ellen McManus,Toni Kay Topping and our latest team member Hannah Broadhurst.
Here at Truly Bespoke Embroidery we are committed to helping equestrian charities and currently support the Washington RDA, with a discount on goods purchased.
We are also very interested in environmental issues and source our products from UK manufacturers whenever possible, to help reduce our carbon footprint. We reuse all packaging that comes into the business which is recycled when goods are purchased.
Our plan for this year is to further reduce our Carbon Footprint by becoming a Carbon Partner with Moor Trees, helping increase woodland cover in Devon. The business will donate money to buy saplings which will be planted to create new woodland in Dartmoor.
